YOU LOVE YOURSELF TOO MUCH

In the last days For people will be lovers of self[narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane,                            [Amplified Bible 2 Timothy 3:2] 

In our contemporal society the notion of self Love is becoming more popular even among Christians , maybe due to many disappointments on people and insecurities we tend to resort to such dilllussions of the enemy  .It may often seems a noble and peaceful resort because we are living in such a wonded generation deprived of genuine Love .As good it might seem, I want to say it with all boldness it an Antichrist ideology that aim to tear our society through Pride ,envy , competition , Political injustice  ect .This has further resulted to broken marriages , churches , nations and Political instabilities .

Jesus taught about denying of self interest , ambitious and pleasures in order to qualify for his discipleship leverage.Anything that promotes self is unchrist!

What the Bible says about self Love .Do we have to Love our self ?

1. DENY SELF

( Matthew 16:24)   Jesus said to His disciples, “ If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me].

2.PUT A NEW SELF 

Colossians 3:1

 Put On the New Self Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], 


3. SEEK THE THINGS ABOVE

keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].

4.PUT TO DEATH SELF 

 So put to death and deprive of power the evil longings of your earthly body [with its sensual, self-centered instincts] immorality, impurity, sinful passion, evil desire, and greed, which is [a kind of] idolatry [because it replaces your devotion to God].

 5. WILLINGNESS TO DIE FOR THE GOSPEL 

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death.


Self Love isn't Godly but is evil .You can't have God and also have yourself at the same time !


Self Love must fall💔

If you can Love God with all your heart ,Mind and strength you wouldn't have a space to love yourself.


Today you need to make a decision to Love God with all your heart and deny yourself ,and also carry your cross following Jesus !


You need to accept Jesus now !

Right attitude

  An attitude of a believer in trials .  Amplified Bible James 1:2-4 Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials . Be assured that the testing of your faith [ through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing . A believer should be excited and Joy over trials because it brings a testing of his faith . Faith must be tested. Faith and grace are two very important subjects in the Bible. When you study the Bible, you'll find that both of them operate together.
